The spectacular Istanbul Park track, close to the Turkish capital, will this weekend be the scene of the second date for Racing Engineering with the 2008 GP2 series.
After the positive beginning to the championship less than two weeks ago at Montmeló, with a podium, a fourth and a sixth place it was a really positive result for the two drivers of the Spanish team, Giorgio Pantano and Javier Villa. The race this weekend, part of the Formula 1 Turkish Grand Prix meeting, is a new chance to see the two Repsol and Telefónica liveried Dallaras of Racing Engineering racing in the top places.

Andi Zuber has claimed his long overdue first GP2 pole in blustery conditions at the Silverstone circuit today, pushing hard throughout the session as championship leader Timo Glock spun off on his outlap on fresh tyres while trying to outdo his teammate.

went through at the Magny Cours GP2 series weekend, it’s already time for the

Javier Villa today showed just how talented he is with a stunning debut GP2 victory,
driving with a wonderful combination of speed, aggression and maturity he took
command of the Magny Cours circuit and repaid the faith that Alfonso D’Orleans, Racing
Engineering and their backers, Repsol and Telefónica have placed in him.

Following a high speed accident in today’s GP2 Series race at Magny-Cours, Ernesto Viso (Racing Engineering) was transferred from the track’s on-site Medical Centre to the Hopital Pierre Beregovoy, Nevers, for check-ups. He was visited by the FIA Medical Delegate, who has reported that he was in a conscious and stable condition.
