After ten years working in the Repsol Honda Team, Pete Benson has had the opportunity of working with some of the best riders in motorcycling history, such as Mick Doohan and Valentino Rossi. John Hopkins ended his Suzuki Grand Prix career in style today at Valencia in Spain, by powering his Rizla Suzuki GSV-R to a fantastic third place at the final race of the season.
Starting from seventh on the grid, the Anglo-American made a fantastic start and was in fourth position by the first corner. He then passed Nicky Hayden to move in to third on lap four and pulled away from the 2006 World Champion. (more…)

The 14th round of the MotoGP World Championship got underway today as the first practice sessions of the Portuguese Grand Prix took place at Estoril.

The first world championship motorcycle Grand Prix for 14 years took place at Misano today and it was a race of very mixed fortunes. Kawasaki Racing Team pilot, Anthony West, managed a well-deserved eighth place while Randy de Puniet crashed soon after the start and was unable to continue.
